Powers: Atomic ray, can become magnetic, regeneration, flight via aiming atomic ray at ground.

The Showa series is the era in which Godzilla began.  At this time, he is at his smallest, and not at his peak of power, which is not achieved until the Heisei series, and the most recent Millennium movie, Godzilla: Final Wars. Many classics were created in the Showa series, followed by a sharp decline in quality from 1969 through 1973.  Godzilla started this era with an atomic  mist, in place of his ray, which came along later in that same era.
