Powers: Digging/burrowing, spikes on carapace, long jumps.

During the Showa Era, Anguirus has gone from Godzilla’s rival to his closest friend.  Although possessing no beam weapons or powers, Anguirus easily compensates for it in strength.  Anguirus appeared as Godzilla’s first rival in Godzilla Raids Again, yet, in Godzilla vs. Gigan and Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, he is portrayed as an ally of Godzilla.  It is notable the Anguirus has a weak jawbone, as it was broken by Mechagodzilla.

Height: 90 Meters

Length: 160 Meters

Powers: Extreme jumping, spikes on carapace, can roll up into a ball.

In Godzilla: Final Wars, Anguirus played one of the many foes of Godzilla.  One notable thing about Anguirus in this installment is that he is one of the three monsters NOT to be killed, along with Rodan and King Ceasar.  Anguirus rampaged down Shanghai until he was halted by the King of the Monsters.
